Privacy Policy
Original Reality Theory (ORT) respects its readers’ privacy. This policy explains what information may be collected when you use this website, how it is used, and which external services take part in processing it.
1. Comments
When submitting a comment, readers voluntarily provide their name, email address, and the text of their comment.
This information is used to receive and moderate the comment and, if approved, publish it alongside the relevant content.
The name provided may be displayed publicly with an approved comment. The email address will not be published.
Comments are moderated before publication and may be approved, rejected, or deleted.
2. Protection against abuse and spam
The comment form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish legitimate interactions from automated attempts, spam, and abuse.
Verification may involve Cloudflare processing technical information about the browser, device, and interaction with the website.
Turnstile on this website is configured to run verification invisibly whenever possible, without requiring readers to solve traditional visual CAPTCHAs.
Use of Cloudflare Turnstile is subject to Cloudflare’s applicable privacy practices and the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
3. Comment storage
Comment data is stored using infrastructure provided by Supabase.
Stored data includes the information needed to administer and moderate comments: the name, email address, comment text, language, associated content, moderation status, and dates and times relating to submission and any subsequent approval.
4. Subscribing to ORT updates
The website may offer a voluntary subscription to receive announcements about new articles, books, and other relevant content.
When this feature becomes available, subscriptions will require explicit consent. An email address provided with a comment will not be automatically used for this purpose.
Subscribers will be able to unsubscribe at any time.
5. How information is used
Collected information is used only for purposes related to the features offered by the website, including comment administration, moderation, security, abuse prevention, and, with specific consent, sending communications requested by the user.
6. Sharing
Data is not sold.
Information may be processed by infrastructure providers needed to operate the features described in this policy, such as hosting, database, and abuse prevention services.
7. Security
Technical measures are used to limit unauthorized access to information, including processing sensitive operations on the server and keeping private credentials out of the code sent to the browser.
However, no system connected to the Internet can guarantee absolute security.
8. Rights and requests
Readers may request information about, correction of, or deletion of personal data provided through the features of this website, subject to applicable legal and technical requirements.
Requests concerning privacy and the processing of personal data may be sent to ojumas@gmail.com.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as new features are added to the website or its data processing practices change.
